Multi-Stage Rockets

A rocket that uses two or more stages.  All stages have their own engine.

The advantages to using a multi-stage rocket is that once a portion is out of fuel it drops off and reduces weight.  The disadvantage is that it is needed to carry engines that will be used later.

In class we studied about rockets and this was one of our things we were supposed to study.
