Mall's ability to change. Mall's are always being altered with new fashions and trends. They can change easily depending on the demand of the customer, by outside forces. Just like mall's are easy to change, so are substances that have high malleability. Malleability is a physical property of matter, usually metals. This property usually applies to the family groups 1 to 12 on the Modern Periodic Table of Elements. It is the ability of a solid to bend or be hammered into other shapes without breaking. You can think of the word mallet.

The malleability of the elements is very important when applying it to the real world. Elements such as gold, with have highly mallable, are easily shaped into things such as jewelry, comuter chips, and even coins. This quality makes elements such as gold and aluminum very valuable. You would need to understnad this term when learning about elements and their physical properties. When doing our Adopt and Element Project, everyone's element had its unique malleability.
