*Magma is only under the ground, once above the ground it is called lava.
*Mafic magma has very low velocity and doesn't wan't to flow and Felsic magma has high viscosity and doesn't want to flow.
*First the magma turns into lava when it's above the surface

The magma in the mini candy bars "Martian Rocks" was magma, but any that was oozing out would be lava because it was not under the surface.
