wiki Word:  Liquid

Definition: the phase of matter in which an object flows.

Glass is actually considered a liquid because as time progresses, all the pressure forcing down on it makes it begin to flow.As many peopole know, water is a liquid. It flows very easily. In a liquid, the mollecules are condensed together to where they have more room to move freely than a solid. But not quite as much room as in gas or plasma.

the waterfall is an example of flowing water. you can see the water flowing from the top of the waterfall to the water below.

This term represents the water to which you drink, the spray that you decide to clean your home with, the waterfalls in which you enjoy,  just about everything involved in your life contains a liquid. The farmers have to water their crops. There are many other ways liquids are incorporated into everyday life.

Mrs. Flynt:Make sure you cover the meaning of this term as it relates to a phase of matter (solid, liquid, gas, plasma). How do the particles in a liquid behave? Why can liquids take the shape of their container but can't flow UP out of them like gasses can?
