The Law of Conservation of Mass |
The Law of Conservation of Mass states that mass cannot be created or destroyed in physical and chemical canges.
The Law of Conservation of Mass is easy to understand. Conservation means to save and Mass is how much matter an object contains. This means that mass is never lost, it is always conserved, or saved. It can be changed or moved, but mass is never lost. (also see mass) |
This is the symbol for This is a triple beam balance recycling OR conserving. used for measuring mass. |
SO WHAT??? SECTION: This term is important because it states that matter isn't made or destroyed. Why do you care? Why should you? It shows us that mass, the amount of matter around us, cannot change. The mass around us, no matter what happens to it, will never be lost. |
