Small bits of rocks, or a rock made of small bits of sand or rock.

A rock that is made of small pebbles is a clastic rock. A variation of this is pyroclastic, which is burning bits of rock like from a volcano.

This word has to do when we learned about volcanoes. It was not really used on its own for this unit. Pyroclastic was used with a larger range of topics. |
