Definition: The stucture of sedimentary rocks in layers of each one being different in a way the composition, the grain size or the arrangment. They are stacked in a sequence oldest being at the bottom and youngest at the top. |

If your haveing a hard time reading what im writing then just high light the sentances with your cursor! Another name for bedding is "strata". Means the same thing. You can find bedding any where! Just don't mistake where you put your head at night. The grand canyon is a great example! Its like a time line you dig down 500 feet you could be looking at something that was there 200years ago!!! Thats wut core samples and cross sections are for. Looking at the history buryed under ground.
