Latin or Greek Meaning: come from the Greek astron which means STAR. Also pertains to the study of stars.

Ex.

      Astrology, astrophysics, astronomy, astrologer, astrological, astrophil, astronaut, and astrometer. As you can see there are thousands of words that have the Greek root word astro in them, either at the begining or the end. 

A word I have thought of is helpful kind of my word is, astrostaromy.

SO WHAT??? SECTION: Latin root words help me to understand scientific words such as astronomy and all the other words with the root word astro. They also help my understand the words that we use to conect with people about the word today and what we are going through as a human on the planet Earth. 

Astro: We are studying astro which means stars because so we can understand and get a clarification on stars and how and why they are in our solor system. We need to know about this term to be successful in science because so we can classify them and not anyother objects in our solar system thats not stars.This term applies to our classwork because we are studying stars and other objects in our solar system.
