Mendeleev was the father of science as we know it today. Without him we would not have the most widely used chart ever. It is the Periodic table of elements. Without the Periodic Table of Elements, there would be no possible way of telling what the elements were.

We are studying this term because we are learning about elements and the periodic table. Mendeleev was the founder of the table. Without Mendeleev we might not have the Periodic table of elements.He found a patern consisting of 7 elements in a row, and aranged them in that order.
