Definition: The law states that the younger strata will be deposited on top of the older strata, given normal conditions of deposition. 
  •   Who was the person to reason Superposition? It was Steno.                    
  •  This Law guides "Stratigraphy" wich is the study of goelogical or solid layers.
  •    Steno used fossils and crystals to prove this law.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It applys to our class lab when we took a sample of  rocks from "Mars" , because  each "rock" (candy bar) had layers of  soil (filling), lava (carmel) or mountains (nuts). one layer was on top of another.
