Cassini-Huygens Mission

Definition: NASA probe on an exploration mission to Saturn.

The Cassini-Huygens Mission is the exploration of Saturn and its moons. This mission launched on October 15, 1997 was named after the Itallian-French astronomer Giovanna Domenico Cassini and Dutch astronomer, mathematician, and physicist Christiaan Huygans. The probe arrived at Saturn on July 1, 2004 the probe reached Saturns moon Titan. Once it arrived there it started on an atmospheric descent.
